Commercial Demo

“Oodles of poodles, as usual.”

Profile

American voice artist Susan Zelouf worked as a voiceover in New York, Rome and Los Angeles before settling in Ireland. Her voice has been heard in hundreds of commercials, feature films (revoicing lead roles) and animation (including Mowgli in the Jungle Book series, Norman Normal, Way to the Stars, CBBC’s Freefonix). As a vocalist, Zelouf can be heard singing on film soundtracks and performs live in clubs internationally. Ms Zelouf is the voice of eLearning companies including Riverdeep, NetG, Houghton Mifflin and Skillsoft.

Okay, so she works a lot. But what does she sound like? Her voice is naturally warm and sexy, or sexy serious, casual and engaging, with just enough authority to get what she (and your client) wants. And she is one of the best cold readers in the business.

Accents range from Hollywood to Bollywood to trailer trash twang. America’s a big country: New Yawk, New Joisey, Nuyorican, Midwest, deep South, California. She loves to travel, picking up accents along the way: Franch, Italian, Eastern European, Asian, Jamaican, Japanese… Characters? From Bond girl to Valley girl, Ruby to Scarlett, Sopranos to Springer, Bart to Bucket, Britney to Betty Boop.

In culinary terms, Zelouf is New York cheesecake, a bottle of bubbly and meat and potatoes too. The proof is in the pudding, so dig in. Kellogs, Diet Coke, Ocean Spray, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Toyota, Budget Travel, Vodafone, Tedcastles, Kildare Village, Abrakababra, Chef, Killeen, RTE, 98 FM, Lyric, Friends First, Rabobank and Easons have.
